Hello and Welcome to my Camino
The header image you see above was taken from the northern beaches of Iona early in the morning of my last day of a short stay in October 2016. My visit to Iona was really the beginning of my pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela. Since Iona I have been planning and making preparations for the pilgrimage – a 500 mile walk starting in St Jean-Pied-du-Port in France, across the Pyrenees, through the Basque country, Navarra, La Rioja, Castilla y Leon and Gallicia to my destination the Catedral de Santiago.
