Day 29 Gonzar

Constant rain for 7 hours and cold as I walked from Sarria to Gonzar a distance of about 25 kilometres. The walk like yesterday was along country lanes and woodland paths – even more like England than yesterday with the rain! Passed through numerous tiny hamlets and the town of Portomarin where I visited the church before reaching Gonzar in a rather wet state. Gonzar was a tiny hamlet with an albergue and a bar/restaurant – my bed for the night was in a dormitory of 30 beds and cost the princely sum of 6 euros.
