Days 11 to 14 Hotanas

Just a quick update. I  have walked 120 kilometres in the past 4 days so have not had much time to update the blog. The first couple of days were hot and humid – yesterday temperatures dropped from 25 degrees to 7 degrees – first wet day – thunderstorms rained from 6.30 am to 3.00 pm – everything got soaked despite waterproof cover on the rucksack. Today has been cool – no rain – blue skies with puffy clouds – good walking weather! On day 12  I passed through Santo Domingo and visited the Cathedral where Saint Domingo is buried – he is the patron saint of civil engineers. Stayed in the large city of Burgos last night and visited the Cathedral before I left this morning.
