Day 31 Arzua

Another good day walking through the Galicia countryside with around 23 kilometres walked. Left Casanova just after 7.00 am arriving in Melide around 2 hours later. Visited the church of Santa María de Melide, a national monument  – its Romanesque altar (one of the few Romanesque altars left in Galicia) and an image of Our Lady of the Snows, the parish’s patron saint. From Melide the journey moves through Boente, Ribadiso before reaching Arzua and my bed for the night. Heavy rain in the evening.
