Day 2 Orrison to Roncesvalles

What a wonderful day walking – the weather continues to be blessed – warm but not too hot sunshine and clear blue skies. I have crossed the Pyrenees! The views of the Pyrenees were magnificent – breathtaking and made the difficult walking so much easier. The descent into Ronscevalles was very steep through beautiful woods with fresh green leaves.

Continue to meet new friends all with different reasons for walking. Enjoyed dinner last night in the albergue at Orrison at a long table with 20 other pilgrims.
